**The Opportunity**

The Data & Insights team at Ramsay Health Care are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Data Analyst to join our Data & Insights, Data Lab team on a full-time basis

The Data Analyst is a key role within the organisation, responsible for supporting a team in delivering data-driven solutions and insights to support various operational or strategic decision-makers.

**Key Role Accountabilities**
- Demonstrate the ability to quickly grasp and learn new domain knowledge, effectively mapping it to relevant business processes
- Work closely with other departments to develop data products that deliver insights and address key business needs
- Collect, analyse, interpret and provide insights from large, complex data sets
- Utilise strong understanding of statistical techniques and software tools
- Communicate effectively to various stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Be inquisitive - delve into the problem, ask the right questions and think creatively to problem-solve efficiently

**Key Skills and Experience**
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Proactive and self-driven
- Tertiary qualifications in health, business, statistics, computer science, information technology or equivalent
- Proven track record in producing descriptive and diagnostic analytics
- Demonstrated experience in utilising SQL, Excel, VBA and Python or R
- Basic understanding of data science, developing Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning models, choosing algorithms, training models, evaluating models, deploying models and generating predictions using models
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies

**Highly regarded, though not essential**
- Experience with healthcare data and/or working in a healthcare organisation
- Familiarity with project management
