- This is a 12-14 month parental leave contract role pending start date - can be Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne based. Our Head of People & Culture will be heading on parental leave at the end of June, so ideally you will be able to start end of May / early June._

As the Head of People & Culture (P&C), you will be responsible for leading the P&C team through the successful design and delivery of the P&C strategy across Australia and Malaysia, ensuring alignment with the business’s overall goals and objectives.

With the company going through a period of massive growth, you will be hands-on, actively involved in helping the P&C team to attract, on-board, develop, manage and retain our valued employees. By coaching and supporting the P&C team, you will enable them to grow and develop their skills and knowledge and assist them in delivering value-adding service across the entire employee lifecycle.

You will also be responsible for the planning, design and execution of specific P&C initiatives and programs ranging from attraction and engagement, learning and development, talent management, reward and benefits, DEI, and improving the overall employee experience.

As a senior leader, you will work collaboratively with the business to drive P&C initiatives, as well as provide advice and guidance to our senior leadership and Executive teams across all People & Culture related issues and opportunities.
**Qualifications**
You will be an out of the box thinker, passionate about all things people and culture, with a problem-solving mentality and a focus on continuous improvement.

With prior HR management experience, you will have strong capabilities across all HR generalist functions and a sound understanding of employment legislation. Ideally you will have experience working in various industries across small, medium and large organisations, prior experience working across Asia is advantagoues.

You will have excellent interpersonal relationship and stakeholder management skills and be consultative and flexible in your approach, providing practical advice and solutions that suit the stakeholders needs.
