We currently have an exciting Permanent opportunity for a Product Analyst to join our Product team.

The Product Analyst is responsible for assisting the Product Managers in maintaining a competitive and customer-oriented product suite, supporting the complete product lifecycle for a range of Commercial Data & Analytics products targeted across organisations risk life stages.

This position will work in partnership with a variety of stakeholders across the business including Business Analysts, Project Managers, IT Developers, Sales, Data, Finance and Customer Support to develop, implement, monitor and support the Commercial Risk Products.

**Job Description**:
**Functional Tasks and Responsibilities**

Assist in managing the End-to-End Product lifecycle of key products, including:

- Undertake reporting and data analysis to help the business make decisions.
- Maintain existing product material including pricing tables or other product collateral.
- Research and analysis to help inform product decisions.
- Monitor customer usage, behaviour and trends, developing a deep, data centric knowledge of our customers.
- Track product performance against revenue goals, industry standards and competitors, liaising with other business units to gather information.
- Identify and define product features, gaps and user journeys, focusing on customer needs.
- Help maintain the enhancement backlog, balancing customer needs with competing business priorities.
- Work closely with Business Analysts to understand, analyse and document business requirements and acceptance criteria, clearly articulating the ‘why’ and ensuring the product vision is captured.
- Attend project stand-ups and meetings, providing context and clarification on product requirements and objectives.
- Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and PVT (Production Verification Testing) activities.
- Assist with go to market for new product launches and enhancements.
- Collaborate with Customer Integration and Customer Support teams to help identify onboarding efficiencies and assist with solving customer queries.

**Technical Aptitude**
- Competency to perform basic SQL queries (Microsoft SQL Management Studio).
- An adequate understanding of database structures.
- Confident use of Microsoft Office - Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
- Experience using PowerBI is advantageous.

**Desirable**
- Knowledge of product management and product lifecycle management.
- ** Technical Aptitude**
- Basic understanding of XML, JSON, HTML and CSS desirable.
- Experience using Adobe products is advantageous (Adobe XD desirable).

**Experience**
- Using data to support decision making.
- Experience working in both agile and waterfall environments.
- Tertiary qualification in a business or quantitative discipline.
