**About our role**:
Simplot Australia currently has an exciting opportunity available for a Consumer Information Officer based at our head office in Mentone. Reporting into the Consumer Information Team Leader, you will work within a supportive and dynamic team providing customers and consumers with expert information and advice to promote our product attributes and minimising product related risk. In this role you will resolve customer and consumer queries and ensure the Simplot Australia brand is maintained. This will be through your effective customer service, efficient information capture, liaison, and feedback to our business via additional reporting and trend analysis.

**What are we looking for**:

- Experience working in an administrative or customer service position,
- Communicate effectively (including written, verbal, and interpersonal skills) and influence outcomes, including conflict resolution
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team, with an ability to work autonomously under mínimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail including good data entry and typing skills.
- Provide responses for external customers on quality and technical processes, issues, general product information.
- Experience using Salesforce & MS Teams.

**About you**:
You are a self-motivated individual who has proven experience in a similar role, and outstanding customer service focus and who thrives in a busy environment. You are willing to offer advice and support to customers/consumers who are calling our 1800 hotline who may be asking for hints and tips for our products or is calling to offer feedback on a product’s taste or quality. You may be a fabulous home-cook that uses our product - so can comment on various product’s benefits and uses. Your attention to detail will give you an advantage as you juggle the day to day requirements for the Simplot business. You will be empathetic, with strong communication skills and demonstrated PC skills. A passion for food and interest in the FMCG industry would be an added benefit.
