**Work Health and Safety Consultant**

Founded in 1992, Employment Innovations focuses on providing solutions to help navigate the challenges of running a business, whether that be providing HR consulting, managed payroll, safety or legal advice - we are a one stop shop for small to medium sized businesses across Australia. This role offers genuine flexibility as a Remote First employer, meaning that, if you want to, you can work from home as much as you want, while still having the option to work from our office in Melbourne.
This role offers the opportunity to deliver work health and safety (WHS) consulting to a variety of clients who range across industries. Varying from the traditional project-based WHS consulting, we deliver a bespoke service to the client, partnering with them to improve their workplace safety over time. Additionally, we sell a complete WHS management system, tailored to our clients needs.
We prioritise relationship building, and developing a brilliant partnership based on trust and high quality service. We work with the client to build WHS strategies and plans, then assist with the delivery of the strategy elements. Of course, managing any ad-hoc needs that might arise as we go

**Key responsibilities**
- Undertake client facing and safety consulting to our clients in accordance with their WHS plans, projects & priorities
- Facilitating presentations to clients, such as training sessions on WHS topics, record videos for clients to share with teams, facilitate recurring meetings etc
- Be the point of contact for assigned clients, be available and responsive to their requests for support or enquiries.
- Design and deliver strategic WHS strategies and plans based off the clients needs
- Ensure Safety Partner work is delivered on time, and is of a high quality
- Create new material, content and anything else which may be required to satisfy the needs of Safety Partner clients (e.g. new report template, new policy).
- Provide support to others with their client enquiries or tasks should the need arise
- Deliver project based work, such as implementations of our WHS Management System within timeframes
- Develop reports such as handovers and WHS process documents tailored our clients needs
**What you’ll need to succeed in this role**
- A passion for all things work health & safety, client partnering & providing great service
- Proven experience in or coordinating WHS either as an internal resource or in a consulting capacity with a sound understanding of the relevant Australian Law
- Qualifications within WHS - Diploma WHS as a minimum
- Excellent levels of verbal and written communication
- Experience and passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building quality working relationships
- Ability to manage a variety of competing priorities within a timely manner
- Being a proactive team player by assisting with internal WHS queries
