**About you**

You are a process driven and solution focused leader with the ability to lead the Mobile Road Safety Camera service delivery region to maximise service delivery, operational efficiency and mitigate operational risk, while meeting contractual obligations

The role will lead, motivate, mentor, and develop Mobile Road Safety Camera Operators, and associated processes, and systems to ensure that contractual and organisational expectations are met, and excellent working relationships with internal and external clients are maintained.

The Regional Manager will also assist with the administration, monitoring and reporting of the Rural Signage Program within the designated region.
Region team will include a minimum of 40 MRSCOs

**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Detection Services Manager, the Regional Manager will be required to:

- contribute to the Detection Services Leadership team and providing leadership and support to MRSCOs to optimise performance of team and team members.
- Strengthen effective, co-operative, and positive partnerships and relationships with internal (Traffic Camera Services contract personnel) and external stakeholders (Victoria Police).
- Evaluate and analyse region performance measures and work with Training & Compliance Officer to address issues impacting on results.
- Regularly review the efficiency, effectiveness and appropriateness of services delivered.
- Monitor KPI’s to evaluate service delivery and identify opportunities to improve structures and processes, for improvement or enhancement of services delivered.

The successful applicant will be required to complete the 12 day MRSCO training course and demonstrate ability to conduct Mobile Camera sessions to maintain technical skills and knowledge, assist team members with resolution technical and session issues with team members and participate in an after hours oncall roster.

**_To be successful for this role, you will have:_**
- A Valid Victorian Drivers Licence.
- Undergraduate qualifications in business, management, education, or related discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and liaison skills
- Sound planning, time management, organisation, and monitoring skills.
- Proven ability to perform well under pressure with an ability to prioritise.
- Strong Customer Service focus, with previous experience in working with a government client(s) in a service or related environment, preferably with stringent quality and public interaction requirements.
- Experience in a similar position within a complex medium sized operation, managing geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience in the management and implementation of quality systems to ISO 9001
- This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes national police check as an essential selection component for this role._
