Situated within quiet streets of Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs, this modern Aged Care facility offers a peaceful and friendly environment - providing luxury accommodation and a range of dining and entertainment options for the residents to relax and enjoy their lifestyle.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the
**General Manager** is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the
**110-bed Residential Aged Care facility located in Ringwood.**

Our client is seeking an experienced General Manager with a clinical background in Aged Care, to lead and coordinate the professional care staff to support the livelihood of its wonderful residents.

**Your duties will include**:

- Manage day to day operations of a 110-bed aged care facility
- Lead a team of care managers, ACFI coordinator and care staff
- Control of recruitment, rostering and training of staff
- Participate and lead company meetings and special projects/activities
- Focus on staff management and development to maintain a positive workplace
- Assist in budget planning - with a focus on occupancy and funding income
- Facility located in Ringwood

A crucial part of the role also includes non-clinical duties such as financial, compliance and admissions management to provide maintenance and continuous improvements within the establishment.

**Requirements/Skills**
- Current AHPRA registration
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Minimum 4 year experience working as a Facility Manager in Aged Care
- Registered Nursing qualification
