As the **Ethical Sourcing Manager** based in either of our Sydney locations you will be reporting directly to the Head of Quality, Compliance and Sustainability and be responsible for delivering the business Ethical Sourcing program. Our supplier base consists of goods for resale - general merchandise, industrial tools and workwear apparel, goods not for resale and service providers. Our team comprises of passionate hard-working team players who pride themselves in problem solving and improving efficiencies whilst delivering the highest quality product to our customers.

**Your key responsibilities include but not limited to**;**
- Ongoing management and governance of the ethical sourcing program
- Deliver ethical sourcing objectives and projects such as new country assessments and raw material due diligence
- Lead leadership team Steerco
- Communicate, support and coach category and sourcing in ethical sourcing conversations and remediation management, may include Supplier conversations
- Responsible for preparation, analysis and timely reporting of Ethical Sourcing metrics
- Represent Ethical Sourcing team in both internal and customer engagements
- Stay ahead of industry and global events and assessments as to impacts to our business

**What you will need to succeed**:

- You will be self-driven and work either alone or in a collaborative team environment
- Internal and external stakeholder engagement experience (Board, Leadership teams, Government, NGOs, Media)
- Build strong relationships across multiple areas of our business
- Demonstrated understanding of risk identification, remediation and solution finding
- Strong communicator and influencer
- Organisation, prioritisation, strong project management and ability to execute and deliver on time.
- Demonstrated research and data interpterion
- Local and international factory experience, across a range of products is desired but not essential
- 7+ years’ industry experience in global supply chain, sustainability, risk management or auditing.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, social, human rights desired
