**The Opportunity**

This role will suit an experienced specialist who is keen to work as part of a small expert Assurance, Risk and Compliance team responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of BDA's governance framework, enterprise risk management, and compliance.

**Responsibilities**:
Assist in the development and maintenance of ARC policies and procedures
- . Ensure that policies are communicated effectively across the organization, including organising workshops and seminars on compliance and risk management topics
- . Partner with key stakeholders and support the identification and assessment of cross-business risks and the development of risk mitigation strategies and action plans
- . Assist in the review of compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies
- . Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information
- . Assist in the follow-up of audit findings and recommendations
- . Maintain accurate records of ARC activities and prepare management reports on ARC initiatives
- . Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with GRC objectives and to promote a collaborative environment and culture of compliance and risk awareness
- .

To be successful, you will:
Previous experience in governance, risk management, compliance, or a related field
- . Strong understanding of defence regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks is preferred
- . Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to report data in a meaningful way for senior and executive leadership
- . Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage and influence stakeholders to drive change
- . Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Sharepoint and Atlassian tools is desirable
- . Be able to research, develop, implement and embed new processes which are customised to the specific business environment
