Doutta Galla Aged Services seeks an inspirational and values-based Executive Manager Clinical Governance to lead and oversee our clinical governance framework.

Reporting to the General Manager, Extended Care Services and as the organisations most senior clinical expert, you will provide leadership and oversight of the Clinical Governance Framework with a focus on resident and community client clinical care outcomes. The role will support the workforce and visiting practitioners to provide safe, quality clinical care as part of a holistic approach to aged and community care that is based on the needs, goals and preferences of residents and community clients. The Executive Manager Clinical Governance will take the lead role in rapid response for clinical matters at Doutta Galla’s Aged Care Homes including infection control, outbreaks and emergency response ensuring Doutta Galla is well prepared and continually strengthening its readiness to respond.

***You will also have**:

- Expertise in leading and developing resource-effective organisation-wide clinical governance and quality improvement systems.
- Up to date knowledge of Commonwealth and State regulatory frameworks and requirements including the Aged Care Quality Standards & Disability Practice Standards.
- Highly developed collaboration, negotiation, relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
- Broad experience working with older people and people with disabilities.
- A track record of successfully defining policy and ensuring its compliance.
- Experience implementing and maintaining compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and achieving accreditation.
- A current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse with current unconditional registration.
- Post graduate qualifications in Gerontology, Clinical Governance, Aged Care, Aged Psychiatry, Management, Health or similar. Nurse Practitioner qualifications will be well regarded.
