**Responsibilities of the Role**:

- Implement/maintain high quality subcontract registers - variations/change management, correspondence, documentation and contract performance.
- Monitor and manage supplier/subcontractor’s ongoing compliance and timely performance of contractual obligations as described in Hitachi standard forms of agreement.
- Manage variation review and approval process to ensure compliance with subcontractor agreements while driving VFM outcomes for the alliance.
- Contractual/administrative support to Project Management/Delivery team.
- As a key member of the Commercial and Contracts team, actively contribute to increasing commercial acumen amongst the wider Alliance team.
- Provide contractual consultation/clarification to members of the wider Alliance team where required.
- Alliance head contract management including KPI and KRA management and Risk and Opportunity governance.
- Contribute to monthly alliance forecasting and reporting.
- Assist with monthly subcontractor progress claim workflow.
- Final account negotiation/resolution.

**Desired Knowledge/ Experience**:

- Experience in the railway/infrastructure industry is preferred but not essential.
- Minimum 5 years’ contract admin experience, preferably working in complex technical or engineering-based organisation/s.
- Applicants with transport infrastructure and/or alliance-contracting experience will be strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as Contracts Administrator, preferably in the rail/infrastructure/resource industry.

**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Degree or diploma in Construction Management/Quantity Surveying or equivalent)
