**Overview of the team**

The Technology and Information Management (TAIM) Unit maintains Comcare’s Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) infrastructure and provides strategic leadership, governance, solutions and advice for the effective management of information.

The Technology Service Desk and End User Computing team within TAIM provides a responsive and respectful frontline function for desktop and end user support within Comcare’s ICT environment. These teams provide guidance and assistance in the management of service requests, incidents and ICT asset management.

**What we are looking for**

There are two immediate ongoing APS6 vacancies, Service Desk Team Leader and End User Computing Team Leader. There is an immediate non-ongoing APS5 vacancy Senior Support Technician. We are looking to establish a merit pool to fill future ongoing and non-ongoing positions in the following areas within Technology and Information Management team.

**Overview of the roles**

**APS5 Senior Support Technician**

The Senior Support Technician will provide technical guidance to the Service Desk function and ensure the delivery of responsive, reliable, and respectful ICT support and service to Comcare. The Client Services senior technician will be responsible for mentoring and providing guidance to a regionally dispersed team of Service Desk Analysts.

Mandatory Qualifications/Experience
- Qualification in Information Technology or relevant experience.

**APS6 Service Desk Team Leader**

The Client Services Team Leader will provide leadership and technical guidance to the Service Desk function to ensure the delivery of responsive, reliable, and respectful ICT support and service to Comcare workers, within timeframes. The Team Leader will be responsible for managing a regionally dispersed team of Service Desk Analysts.

Mandatory Qualifications/Experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the ITIL Framework with preference of having ITIL v4 qualification.
- Minimum 2 years in experience in an enterprise Information Technology environment.

**APS6 End User Computing Team Leader**

The End User Computing Team Leader will provide team leadership and technical guidance to the Service Desk function and ensure the delivery of responsive, reliable, and respectful ICT support and service to Comcare workers, within timeframes. The Team Leader will be responsible for managing a small team of support technicians.

The role will provide support for Comcare’s personal computing environment while maintaining and upgrading the standard operating environment (SOE). To be successful in this role you will require well developed technical skills and great customer service skills to effectively support Comcare’s ICT environment.

Mandatory Qualifications/Experience
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in Information Technology.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune or SCCM packaging.

**Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance applies to all 3 roles. Other specific conditions apply, please refer to Job Information Pack.**
