Reservations & Functions Manager

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Reservation Management**:
- Manage all aspects of the reservation process, including receiving and confirming bookings for events, conferences, and private functions.
- Ensure optimal booking schedules to maximise venue usage and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee and manage the reservation system, ensuring accuracy in event details and guest preferences.
**Event Coordination**:
- Act as the main point of contact for clients.
- Coordinate with internal departments (kitchen, bar, front of house) to ensure seamless event execution.
- Assist clients with event planning, offering advice on logistics, layout, and menu selection.
**Customer Service**:
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or special requests from clients with professionalism and care.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and positive word-of-mouth.
**Team Leadership & Collaboration**:
- Supervise and train junior reservations and event staff, ensuring high standards of customer service.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to promote venue offerings and secure new bookings.
**Administrative Duties**:
- Maintain accurate records of all bookings, contracts, and payments.
- Prepare event schedules, reports, and forecasts for management.
- Ensure all event documentation is up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality or events industry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in reservation and event management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Leadership and team management experience.
