**About the role**

As part of a specialist Quality Engineering team, we are hiring Analyst, Performance Engineer. You will work across all disciplines (Performance Engineering, Service Virtualization and Quality Analytics), to enable and transform quality practices within the bank’s platform teams.

Innovate with new and existing tools, processes, practices and industrialize them into a regular delivery cycle agnostic of delivery methodology. Identify required resource needs specific to each engagement. Work to define and influence the ongoing PE solution process for all delivery engagements.

Deliver performance testing solutions, test scripts and result analysis for the successful implementation of services to production.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Driving a Performance Engineering approach across the SDLC and contribute to platform integration and better system performance outcomes through analysis and testing.
- Implementing & monitoring quality metrics including trend analysis of discrepancies and defects.
- Validating that NFRs for software components to be implement for the software and Infrastructure user stories.
- Developing performance automation scripts to validate the NFRs criteria contained in the user stories.
- Proactively managing risk; meeting all policy and compliance requirements; performing controls; adhering to Process and Procedures pertinent to role and escalate events, issues, or breaches as they are identified.
- Successfully implementing Performance Engineering frameworks and sufficiently up skill asset team capability to self-service with minor trailing help.

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- Experience in Application and Infrastructure Performance Monitoring and Analytics Tools (such as AppDynamics, Nagios, CA Wily Introscope, Splunk).
- Software development, programming, or scripting languages (Java, J2EE, Ruby, Python, Perl, Shell).
- Linux administration (Debian, Ubuntu and RHEL) and standard UNIX utilities and programs Version control (Git, SVN).
- Database technologies (Oracle) /SQL.
- AWS or other Cloud Computing experience.
