**About the Company**
This NSW Government agency is a major service provider that strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within the government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements within the government and provide services to NSW.

This department work across the Greater Sydney and Regional NSW.

**Primary purpose of the role**
We are currently seeking to appoint a Data Analyst with a leading NSW Government agency. The role leads the analysis of data to identify network and service performance deficiencies and prepare studies/reports which support the development of the transport system to improve customer experiences and outcomes.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Lead the analysis of data to identify road safety, transport and traffic management, network management and deficiencies, service performance, and preparation of studies/reports which support the development of the network to improve customer outcomes.
- Partner with support services in the acquisition of data to support robust evidence-based analysis and decision-making.
- Assess and evaluate the performance of network related project options using appropriate analysis techniques, tools and procedures.
- Evaluate, monitor and report the success of completed projects and programs against agreed objectives.

**About You**
- Sourcing, integrating and analysing complex data from multiple sources.
- Contribute to program development by providing high-level analytical services.
- Lead network performance monitoring and reporting across the region as well as providing information and advice.
- Working independently at times on complex modelling and or statistical analysis and projects without supervision in an often changing and unpredictable environment.
- A highly organized individual who presents the ability to work autonomously
- 4-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst
