**About the Role**:
As Content Editor, you’ll help drive our growth on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube (and more) by editing captivating content that connects with culture.
With an instinct for storytelling and a love for staying ahead of trends, you’ll produce and edit videos that speak directly to our audience’s lifestyle and passions.
Your creativity and cultural insight will help us craft authentic, shareable content that drives engagement, sparks conversations, and builds our global community.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Primary duties: Editing high-quality video content for a variety of social platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and more). Adobe Suite / Premiere Pro skills are a must.
- Secondary duties: Collaborate with and support the Creators and Producers in our in-house Content team to create engaging social posts and video projects.
- Plus: You’ll manage your share of content projects from start to finish, focussing on editing - but familiarity or experience with other stages of post-production like colour grading, sound design and delivery specifications will be an advantage
- Ensure consistency with RØDE brand guidelines and visual styles.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in video editing and social media content.
- Participate in team brainstorms and content ideation.
- Occasionally host on-camera social posts of your own (if you have a great idea for RØDE content, we’ll back you to bring it to life).

**You will require the following skills and experience to be successful**:

- Proficient editor in Premiere Pro. Bonus points for experience using DaVinci Resolve and/or CapCut.
- A strong portfolio, demo reel or Instagram/TikTok/YouTube account showcasing your video editing and content creation skills.
- Ability to edit quickly in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines, maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with basic sound design and colour correction.
- An understanding of different social media platforms and their video requirements.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic Content team
- Proven ability and track record of creating engaging video content on TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube
- Experience with motion graphics and visual effects.
- Some knowledge of After Effects or similar software.
- Experience with photography or videography shoots/on set.
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves and help the Content team with shooting in the studio or on location when required.
- A great sense of humour.
