About the role:
We’re looking for a Product Support Specialist to join our Crushing & Screening division in Western Australia, with a focus on Sandvik Vibrating Equipment. This is your opportunity to bring your technical skills to a role where your impact is real, your voice is heard, and your career can thrive.
As the first point of contact for internal customers and a key escalation point for external customer issues, you’ll provide expert technical guidance and a high level of customer service across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Your support will directly contribute to equipment acceptance, parts and service sales, and long-term customer satisfaction.
You’ll also play a vital role in delivering technical training, driving continuous improvement, and supporting the development of new products based on real-world feedback and field observations.
Specifically you will:
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues on-site and remotely for Sandvik Vibrating Equipment
- Conduct inspections, testing, and root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement
- Support installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair activities
- Deliver engaging training to customers and internal teams
- Collaborate with service teams and Customer Support Representatives to ensure seamless support
- Provide insights to R&D and Product Line Managers to shape future innovations
- Identify opportunities for service, parts, and training on customer sites
- Travel across WA and the broader APAC region as required
What you’ll bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years’ experience in mining equipment installation and commissioning
- Strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Confidence to deliver training and technical support in the field
- A proactive, adaptable mindset and a passion for customer success
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
