- The Specialist Mobile equipment is a key role supporting the synergies between multiple BHP operations, functions and Assets, ensuring that we have a common approach for managing our mining equipment assets, and that equipment selection aligns with our long-term plans.
- Reporting to the Lead Asset Planning, this role will support in-depth modelling and analysis and provide recommendations to manage mining equipment.- This team will provide a global view of equipment requirements and key decisions relating to repurposing, re-deployment, purchase or retirement of capital equipment.- This role will ensure that we deliver equipment and asset requirements to meet production demand and our decarbonization plans.**About You**- Have an understanding of the practice of end-to-end Asset Management, regardless of industry, together with demonstrated experience in whole of life asset planning and capital expenditure processes including equipment lifecycle costing and supply or procurement of equipment.
- Experience in manipulating complex data sets and generating insights.
- Exposure to financial management of mobile equipment.
- It is essential that you are a team player and can communicate well with a vast range of stakeholders, geographic locations and levels of the business.
**Location and Roster**
- This role will be performed from our Centre of Excellence hub in the Perth office, working Monday to Friday offering flexible conditions.
