Adyen is looking for an Account Manager who will manage our key merchants by building strong relationships with our merchant contacts. This role will understand the unique needs of a merchant and provide them with payments expertise and guidance to help them grow. In addition, this role will provide strategic and consultative advice to help influence and fulfil the global payments strategy. And this role will collaborate cross
- Functionally to communicate merchant needs and feedback, impacting Adyen-s product innovation and development, and delivering merchant projects.
- 3+ years experience in account management within the Payments or Financial Technology industry
- Skilled in leveraging the business acumen and analytical abilities to strategically assess and help Reach client goals
- Passionate about leading strategic payments conversations, presenting business reviews and coordinating high level technical discussions
- Commercial sense - Condition the commercial muscle by driving commercial discussions, and being aware of the competitive landscape and able to illustrate Adyen-s unique value proposition
- Judgement - ability to think through difficult situations and understand when to include others
- Strong task management skills that show ability to manage timelines and projects through to completion

**Responsibilities**:

- Bridge current Platform and current international payments knowledge gap within Australian Account Management and Sales teams.
- To be able to build within partnerships by identifying our partner-s business needs through a deep understanding of the Adyen platform, to formulate short and long
- Term development goals for them, that are realistic for implementation and managing those goals both internally and externally.
- Be responsible for the development, testing and deployment of Platform products from Amsterdam and other global teams to coordinate Australian product features (of a highly technical nature), to better suit the needs of Australian customers.
- Be responsible for coordinating a global project team utilizing your project management skills, and extensive experience to train and hand over projects to local Account Managers.
- Coordinate the management of Adyen personnel and resources in, and manage the execution of, any internal project pertaining to his/her projects.
- Initially manage key mid to Enterprise level accounts through integration and Go
- Live.
- Support the local AM team with current Platform accounts. Support Sales team in pitching. Work with individuals and teams across the organization to ensure the best possible client experience and to develop him/herself and his/her colleagues professionally.
- A knowledge expert, with several years of experience in Payments is needed to support the growth of our clients by formulating and documenting business requirements.
- Build partnerships with Platform vendors, partners and platforms to further improve market presence in Australia.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel.
- Have experience working with a variety of global Platform partners is a must, as this sets a realistic expectation for future partners.
- Strategically outlining KPIs for products and working with our partners to help manage costs and resources and meet project goals, be able to speak to KPIs and act accordingly to ensure continued success by working with cross
