FULL TIME: AC Technician
Family-owned and operated, Thermotec Refrigeration PTY LTD was established in 2013. The company currently has three employees and is looking to expand due to the current demand for clients.
Founded over a decade ago, the business has grown significantly. We deal primarily with commercial customers and sites, such as hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, and newly constructed houses.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
? Provide service, repairs, and installation of industrial equipment.
? Ensure that heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are in good working order; clean the evaporator drain pans, coils, and filters; lubricate fan and motor bearings; repair and replace motors, electrical wiring, belts, compressors, thermostats, fans, floating elements, and defrost timers.
? Performing routine inspections and overhauls of refrigeration systems, diagnosing, and repairing faults and replacing defective components.
? Maintain air conditioning systems, including changing filters, refilling refrigerants, and cleaning air ducts.
? Repairing and maintaining freezers, blaster rooms, and coolers in a refrigeration facility.
? Ability to manage time effectively and finish appointments and repairs on time.
? Restore all equipment to its original working condition by troubleshooting and cleaning.
? Filling the system with refrigerant after removing test gas and fluid with vacuum pumps
? Review drawings and specifications that identify job requirements, and a layout of reference points for installation.
? Analyse major malfunctions and breakdowns of heating and air conditioning systems, then troubleshoot to identify the cause. Maintaining comfortable environmental temperatures in all office facilities during and after normal business hours.
? Adjusting and testing refrigeration systems, and Filling systems with gas or fluid to check for leaks.

Skill level required:
? A

certificate of proficiency in Air Conditioning Refrigeration Mechanic
? Minimum two year?s highly relevant work experience in a service industry
