**About Our Client**:
My client is dedicated to providing high-quality Education to the people of Canberra. As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be a part of a supportive team allowing flexibility while prioritising training and development.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant Receivable seeking to join a supportive and high-performing team whereby the role will be an integral part of the finance function.
- End-to-end Accounts Receivable.
- Generate and distribute accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Work closely with the collections team to proactively manage customer accounts, identify delinquent payments, and implement appropriate collection strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer transactions and ensure timely collections.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop efficient accounts receivable processes and procedures.
- Other Ad hoc tasks and duties.
- Assist and support Financial & Audit Analysts as required.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of credit policy and compliance.
**The Successful Applicant**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Officer
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency in using ERP systems & Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
