The Financial Operations Directorate is responsible for delivering Accounts Payable and Receivable, Treasury, Credit Card Management, Travel and Financial Systems Administration.
The Financial Operations Directorate is looking for staff to continue to support changes and improvements in the way we operate. A key change is the implementation of new systems to support a modern and contemporary operating environment, with a new expense management and travel system being rolled out and as well as a new Financial Management Information System.
**Duties**
- Participate in day-to-day operational functions including: account processing, invoicing, monitoring and review, quality assurance, customer service, reconciliations, validations and corrections and records management to ensure the department’s financial and governance responsibilities and obligations are achieved.
- Maintain awareness of Commonwealth financial compliance and legislative frameworks.
- Utilise financial systems and analytical tools to research, analyse and reconcile data.
- Manage prioritisation of own workloads checking accuracy of information and work, ensuring quality processing and receipting.
