**Role description**:

We’re seeking a Discipline Manager to lead our Structures business unit in Victoria. Reporting to the National Business Leader - Buildings Design, this senior role will be the face of our local business, responsible for meeting with clients, engaging them and exceeding their expectations. You’ll inherit an established, self-sufficient team to support you with a solid pipeline of work with tier 1 clients across buildings, precincts and infrastructure. You’ll use your previous management experience to provide leadership and technical guidance to ensure their continued development.
As a natural networker with established contacts and credibility in the Victorian market, you’ll use your commercial acumen to continue to grow our brand by winning and delivering projects aligned to our national strategy. Your extensive consulting engineering experience will enable you to provide solutions and troubleshoot projects to ensure they are being delivered on time and budget.
As a member of the Senior Leadership team, you’ll work closely with the National Business Lead to reassess, develop and deliver on a business strategy that aligns with our company goals and values whilst ensuring it enhances both your reputation and your teams.
**Role accountabilities**:
Whilst every day is different, the key accountabilities for this role are:
- Provide strategic leadership to our Buildings Business, identifying opportunities and risks.
- Proactively engage with new and existing clients to ensure Arcadis is best placed to deliver on their needs while meeting our own commercial objectives.
- Deliver technical guidance and solutions to complex problems.
- Develop your team by providing support and mentoring.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
This is an excellent opportunity to lead an established team working on a variety of landmark projects shaping Melbourne. To be considered for this position it is anticipated you will have:
- Extensive experience across all aspects of Buildings projects from an engineering perspective.
- Ideally with commercial developer and healthcare experience and network.
- Well-developed commercial skills, with a sound knowledge of the industry, a demonstrated ability in sales and business development and a proven record in entrepreneurial behavior.
- An established local network and track record of delivering exceptional service and solutions.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications with post graduate qualifications being highly regarded.
- Proven ability to lead with strong influencing, motivational and delegation skills.
