Working closely with the People Development Manager, you will ensure the effective implementation and management of on boarding experience, employee journey and off-boarding as well as supporting with the delivery of our award-winning Training Program (2020, Training Excellence Award).
Although your primary focus in this role will be supporting HR processes and ensuring completion of admin tasks with accuracy and timeliness, this is a role is a great opportunity for an aspiring HR professional to build their advisory skills in a dynamic and supporting environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Talent Team to ensure smooth transition from recruitment to onboarding of new joiners
- Manage our employee onboarding process and help with onboarding activities leading up to each employee's first day
- Support finance & payroll processes to ensure that all open roles are approved and salary increases & promotions are processed correctly
- Ensure employee files, documents and HRIS Systems are kept current, accurate and confidential
- Organise orientation programs and act as a consultant to new employees
- Provide first level advice to employees around company policies and HR queries
- Support the People Development Manager in the implementation of our training program by coordinating training sessions and liaising with trainers
- Administer performance appraisals and 360 feedback reporting using our online platform
- Help coordinate and facilitate our annual intern program
- Assist with the analysis of data and preparation of reports for our Annual Engagement Survey and any ad hoc employee surveys
- Openness to assist wherever with a can-do attitude.
Required skills and attributes
- An interest in pursuing a career in HR and appetite for working with people
- Tertiary qualification in HR (either University Degree or Vocational Studies) highly regarded
- A high level of proficiency with the MS Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Teams
- The ability to work both independently and with a team
- Meticulousness with details and precision
- A high degree of integrity and sensitivity when dealing with personal information
- The ability to handle pressure while being assertive, proactive and professional
- Flexibility and adaptability regarding rapidly changing priorities
