Specialist ER role
**Your new role**
Your new role will support the Employee Relations Manager to manage the organisations workplace strategy, framework, and systems in support of our corporate strategy, goals, and operations.
You’ll work with the Manager to identify employee engagement risks and opportunities, enabling the organisation to deliver a superior, contemporary, and relevant employee experience whilst mitigating and addressing risk. You'll provide specialist advice on employment and industrial relations issues; including complex case management, disputes, investigations claims and matters relating to industrial instruments.
You will be supporting the Manager in the development and execution of the Enterprise Agreement bargaining strategy, framework and governance of the Enterprise Agreement negotiations and bargaining process as well as liaising with and influencing internal and external stakeholders during bargaining to ensure engagement with, understanding of and alignment with the process and to maintain positive working relationships.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Degree qualification in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Law, or related discipline
- Substantial experience in providing employment relations advice and consultancy services in a medium to large multi-disciplined organisation.
- Considerable experience and demonstrated capability in resolving HR/ER and employment law issues, including experience in advising on managing workplace investigations and resolving workplace claims and disputes.
- Considerable experience in managing litigation internally and externally as well as appearing before relevant jurisdictions.
- Relevant experience in dealing with Unions and related issues.
- Relevant experience negotiating and managing enterprise bargaining.
