**Data Analytics Manager - Reputed Australian Bank**

**The Company**

Sitting within the Business Banking portfolio of a reputed Australian Bank - this team works on implementing high priority projects and work directly with business owners and internal stakeholder to drive strategic initiatives leveraging analytics and cutting-edge cloud data platform/ tools to drive growth and transformation.

**The Role**

This is an exciting time for the business since they are growing the team and are looking for a consultative Data Analytics Manager to work with various stakeholders to deliver analytical insights and recommendations to enable timely and informed decision-making.

Working with a passionate Senior Manager and a team comprised of analytics, insights and data science, your role will focus on owning analytical projects and delivering use cases to support strategic initiatives. You'll also be responsible to support and mentor a team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide quality analysis on content and presentation for senior stakeholder review and approval.
- Working directly with business owners and key internal stakeholders to frame the issue, develop project objectives and hypotheses, and outline a work-plan with specific work-streams.
- Drive automation and introduce innovative solutions to business problems.
- Mentor junior team members on dashboarding, storyboarding, and modelling processes.

**About You**
- Degree in relevant areas such as IT, Maths, Statistics, Econometrics, Marketing Information Systems or Finance
- A minimum of **4+ years'** strong business experience in building data solutions for advanced analytics for banking or retail or telecom sectors.
- Experience in managing teams to deliver projects and supporting and coaching junior staff.
- **Strong knowledge and experience across analytical programs - SQL, R or Python, Tableau or PowerBi, Excel. Experience across Machine Learning, Data Science a good to have**:

- Strong commercial acumen with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to effectively manage, communicate with, and influence key stakeholders across the organisation

**Location - needs to be Sydney based - Hybrid work - 2-3 days from office/ rest from home.**
