What this job involves.

A fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Manager to work across a busy, active, innovative portfolio (3 A-grade assets) for our renowned client.

Our building management team comprises a General Manager, Senior Finance Manager, Finance Manager, two Property Services Managers, a Customer Relationship Manager and two Concierges.

This is a broad ranging management role with areas of responsibility including financial, leasing, capital expenditure projects, operational, and customer service.

A snapshot of the day-to-day duties.
Proactively communicate with customers/ tenants

Establish, build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

Day-to-day management of leasing, reporting, capex, rent roll and debt management

Assisting the GM with completing budget, outgoings estimate, asset plans, quarterly forecasts, and reports

Manage critical dates on the tenancy schedule and ensure lease security and public liability insurance is held in accordance with the lease and licence documentation

Manage Licences including Casual, Carpark, Storage, ATM’s and Telecommunication providers

Assist the GM on lease preparation and legal agreements for the portfolio which will include instructing solicitors, reviewing lease documentation, managing the lessor execution process, and maintaining a lease status report

Manage and oversee all aspects of the Customer Relationship Managers role including the Customer Engagement Plan and Customer Retention Plan designed to engage across multiple levels

You may be currently working in a commercial property management role and are now ready to take the next step expanding your capabilities by working on high quality office assets.

A high understanding of the broad market and general understanding of sustainability, building operations, services contracts, procurement, financial reporting (including asset planning/budgets) and capital works is required.

The ability to communicate with people at all levels will be crucial and you’ve had success leading small teams.

We’ll also expect you to have great time management and organisational skills. You’ll have proven business acumen and want to be part of a high performing, fast paced team.

You will be comfortable visiting the 3 buildings as required (North Sydney, Sydney CBD, Macquarie Park) and be used to working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MRI, holding a current real estate licence or NSW certificate of registration.
