About us
The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority, and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the role
This role operates within the Technology Services (TS) Division, which is a part of Magistrates' Court of Victoria. Technology Services division provides ICT support to MCV staff and judicial officers to ensure that the courts across the state function effectively. Technology Services team is also responsible for business analysis, project management, business intelligence, and contract and service management working alongside the vendors and internal service providers such as Jurisdiction Services.
The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating technology operations for MCV. The role manages technology operational support and communication, as well as coordinating internal and external stakeholders with regards to incident, change, and problem management including post-incident review. The Service Delivery Manager owns the technology operational support processes that support technology operations and is responsible for updating relevant documentation.
The primary responsibilities of the role are to
- Effectively manage the support requests received to the agreed standard of quality within constraints of time and cost. This will include reviewing practices and procedures and providing recommendations and assisting in policy formation.
- Provide leadership to the MCV IT Project Officers and ensure highest level of customer service and satisfaction
- Frequent travel throughout Victoria required.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in IT Operational Support processes, e.g., incident, problem and change management
- Certification in ITIL Foundation is highly desirable
- Information Technology qualification or related degree is highly desirable
- An understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
