**About the role**

A key role reporting to the Integrated Planning Manager is responsible for leading a diverse and highly skilled team to establish long term optimised flow of gas and the allocation of capital across the APLNG portfolio, based on market demand and business strategy. Delivering an optimised supply plan that that maximises the value of the portfolio with a focus on cost of supply initiatives.

**More about the Role**
- Delivering a value optimised development and production supply plan over the 5 year and LOF time horizons (DPP and UDP deliverables) ensuring that lowest cost gas supply opportunities are prioritised across the APLNG portfolio.
- Building long term cost forecasts based on actuals, initiatives, and activity levels.
- Driving a culture of “finding a better way” and leading the Long Term Planning team to improve the Plan Production and Development core process.
- Bringing individual contribution to help the team achieve excellence.
- Accountable for planning, prioritising, timely delivery and QA/QC of work in the Long Term Planning team.
- Responsible for the identification, management, and escalation of supply risk. Ensuring supply plan can meet contracted demand.
- Developing portfolio level risk mitigations, working in close collaboration with operated asset and business development teams.
- Assessing, reporting and communicating value insights across IG.
- Ensuring new field development and inter-asset planning is represented within the portfolio, working in close collaboration with the EN&V and operated asset teams.

**About you**
- 10+year’s experience in upstream oil and gas functions such as Planning, Development, Commercial, Economics, and/or Reservoir Engineering.
- A deep understanding of production forecasting and/or cost analysis.
- A deep understanding of economic drivers and subsurface risk in CSG.
- Leadership of multi-discipline teams in an industry setting.
- Adaptable, proactive and energetic with the ability and drive to implement change in a business.
- Ability to effectively manage and influence multiple stakeholders with differing objectives and priorities
- Proven capability to plan, prioritise and deliver high value deliverables both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated deep technical and commercial curiosity with a strong appreciation of risk and uncertainty
- Proven track record in delivering complex tasks and managing stakeholder relationships.
