**If so, Anglicare wants you to lead our new Families, Children and Young People team. We are seeking someone permanent, full-time based in Launceston.**

**About the role**:
As Program Manager, you will lead a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team across our Devonport, Launceston, and St Helens offices. Together, you will provide case management, parenting education, family restoration support, and counselling services that make a real difference, with a focus on families with children under 12.

**The successful applicant will possess demonstrable competency, knowledge, understanding and/or skills in the following areas**:

- An understanding of the processes people utilises to overcome adversity/distress when facing life challenges;
- Provide line and Practice supervision to a group of staff in a manner consistent with Anglicare’s values, Practice principles and workplace principles;
- Knowledge of practices relating to service delivery to people with a range of barriers and issues;
- An understanding of the Anglicare practice framework and other standards relevant to the Community Services Sector;
- Effective time management with the ability to develop, implement and coordinate activities of a group of workers;
- Demonstrate high level of communication and interpersonal skills with: people who access our services, family/carers, colleagues, other service providers and stakeholders;
- Experience with financial and other record management;
- Demonstrated experience with information and communication technologies;
- Ability to work autonomously within organisational policy and procedure;
- A high level of professionalism and a willingness to develop and reflect on professional practice;
- Ability to work in alignment with Anglicare’s workplace principles;
- Relevant formal training and experience in providing support to people facing adversity and challenges in their lives;
- Relevant degree level qualifications (Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Allied Health), and clearly demonstrated experience or extensive experience deemed to be the equivalent;
- Previous experience in a service management role in health or human services;
- Experience in providing services within a Practice framework.

The successful applicant will be required to:

- present an unsupervised contact with children or vulnerable people type National Police Check (no older than 12 months);
- provide an International Police Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of 16;
- provide a satisfactory Anglicare assessed medical;
- provide a current provisional or full Australian Driver Licence.

On commencement the successful applicant will be required to undertake our structured Safeguarding Children Training program.
