**Program Manager Role**

Mercy Community is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead our Foster and Kinship Care team. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality services across the South East region, providing effective leadership, management, and support in the development and implementation of excellent programs.

The key purpose of this role is to provide strategic guidance, coordination, and supervision to ensure the successful delivery of programs and projects within the foster care and kinship care sector. To be eligible for this position, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Behavioural Sciences, Psychology or a relevant discipline.
  • A demonstrated high-level understanding of child protection processes.
  • Experience in assessment and working closely with families, ensuring engagement between all stakeholders with a strengths-based focus.
  • A demonstrated ability to self-motivate, exercise creativity and initiative in your work, and provide supervision, mentoring, direction, and feedback to team members.
  • Evidence of current vaccination against Whooping Cough or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
  • A valid Queensland Provisional Green (P2) or Open Driver's License.
  • A positive notice in the Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and the ability to obtain a positive Police Check and other legislatively required personal history screening as required.
