australia melbourne contract negotiableOur client is a national retailer looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join on an initial 3 month contract + likely extensions. This role will be an ASAP start and looking to hire for two positions.

**This role will be responsible for**:

- Assist in the internal digital marketing team to execute the digital customer life cycle and coordinate all trade related activities across performance marketing, including programmatic media buying, affiliate marketing, search marketing, native advertising, podcasts and digital screens.
- Support the management of the internal digital media budget across growth channels. Managing budgets in excess of $500k p/m across multiple channels.
- Budget management
- Collaborate with existing digital agencies/partners and work closely on both renewals and appointments of future partners
- Help with the development of partnerships with key martech platforms
- Proactively share best practices with peers and review previous output to ensure KPIs are met, and results increase YoY
- 2+ years of marketing/digital experience
- Experience in FMCG or retail environment preferred
- Solid knowledge around digital platforms and digital ecosystem
- Strong financial and commercial acumen (e.g. ability to build a business case, analyse sales and customer data to drive decision making)
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- A deep understanding of customer acquisition, re-engagement and retention strategies
- Understanding of digital marketing channels
- Experienced using insights and data to inform strategy and improve performance
- Ability to leverage Digital Analytics and marketing tools to drive actionable insights, included but not limited to Adobe Marketing Cloud (incl Adobe Analytics, Audiences, Target etc), Google Marketing Platform (inc Google Analytics, GTM, Search Ads 360 etc), Oracle Respnsys and other related martech platforms
