**About the role**:
Two full-time fixed-term positions to 30/06/2026 are available.
Victoria Police is seeking two Project Officers to assist the delivery of design and construction of projects within the Capital Build program of works. This role will work within the Facilities Division of Victoria Police and report to the Program Manager of Major Projects.

**Your duties will include**:
- Provide project coordination and administrative support to the Project Director, Project Manager and wider delivery team.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, briefings, and ministerial correspondence.
- Coordinate meetings, stakeholder engagement activities and maintain project registers.
- Support contract administration and procurement processes, including tracking milestones and deliverables.
- Maintain project records, monitor timelines, and assist with budget tracking and reporting.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely information flow and task completion.
- Ensure project activities align with departmental policies, procedures, and reporting obligations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and report on progress.
- Raising purchase orders and ensuring timely processing of invoices.
- Contributing to a positive work environment.
**About You**:
- Demonstrated experience in supporting the delivery of major construction projects.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and ability to read and understand technical drawings and construction plans.
- Ability to engage with consultants, contractors and stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience identifying, assessing, and effectively mitigating risks.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in the use of Oracle Aconex, SharePoint, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project.
- Ability to work under pressure, including occasionally under tight timeframes.
- Ability to work autonomously, use your own initiative, and be self-motivated and driven.
- Have a positive can-do attitude.
- A strong commitment to Operational Health and Safety and awareness of working on a construction site.
- A current driver's licence is required to attend site visits.
- A construction induction card or willingness to obtain one.
- Relevant qualifications and/or professional accreditations in construction and/or project management is desired.
- A strong commitment to Operational Infrastructure Department's strategy goals - supporting our people and embracing customer centricity, innovation and collaboration in our delivery of services.
