**Opportunity**

KHG currently is seeking an experienced **Rigger** to join the Karara Project Team. This is a **permanent role** on an **8/6 roster**

Position is Fly In Fly Out from Perth or Drive In Drive Out from Geraldton

Accommodation and meals are provided onsite
- **Casual Flat payrate**: Dayshift $54.60 per hour | Nightshift $ 59.28 per hour plus 11% super
- **Commencement date/mobilisation date**:ASAP
- **Roster**:8:6 / 7:7 - 8 days on : 6 days off / 7 nights on : 7 days off
- **12hour Shift**:6:30am - 6:30pm (DS, NS) with 30 min unpaid break. Paid 11.5 hours

**Duties**
- Inspecting and preparing loads that need to be moved.
- Setting, aligning, and leveling heavy equipment machinery.
- Selecting the appropriate rigging gear.
- Preparing rigging equipment including beams, pulleys, clamps, and eye bolts.
- Inspecting rigging before final use.
- Monitoring and maintaining rigging equipment.
- Maneuvering loads using heavy equipment machinery and by hand.
- Ensuring compliance with state and company safety procedures.
- Communicating and liaising with the mechanical team.
- Breaking down rigging equipment and conducting post-rigging inspections.
- Understanding Load charts
- High Standard of communication and interpersonal skills
- Desire to upskill and achieve a higher standard

**Requirements**:

- Experience in the mining, civil or industrial construction sectors
- Ability to follow verbal & written instructions
- Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry tickets (must be 2 years from issued date).
- White Card
- HRWL (High Risk Work Licence Rigging intermediate or Advance)
- Driver’s Licence
- Must pass Pre-employment Medical, DAS and Respirator Fit Test

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $54.60 - $59.28 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- White Card (preferred)
- Working at Heights Ticket (preferred)
