**Opportunity**

Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced and reliable Rigger to join our close-knit team at Karara Mine Site.
- Position is FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Geraldton on an 8/6 roster
- Casual positions are available at a payrate of: Dayshift $54.60 per hour and Nightshift $59.28 per hour
- Superannuation contributions 10.5% will be paid at 7.6 Hrs / day for all days worked at site
- Accommodation and meals are provided onsite
- Karara Mine is located 250km inland from Geraldton and only a 45-minute flight from Perth
- Commencement date: ASAP

**Job Requirements**:
**Duties**
- Inspecting and preparing loads that need to be moved.
- Setting, aligning, and leveling heavy equipment machinery.
- Selecting the appropriate rigging gear.
- Preparing rigging equipment including beams, pulleys, clamps, and eye bolts.
- Inspecting rigging before final use.
- Monitoring and maintaining rigging equipment.
- Maneuvering loads using heavy equipment machinery and by hand.
- Ensuring compliance with state and company safety procedures.
- Communicating and liaising with the mechanical team.
- Breaking down rigging equipment and conducting post-rigging inspections.
- Understanding Load charts
- High Standard of communication and interpersonal skills
- Desire to upskill and achieve a higher standard

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in the mining, civil or industrial construction sectors
- Ability to follow instructions verbally & written
- Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets (2 years from issued date)
- Nationally accredited OHS card (White card)
- High Risk Work Licenses (Rigging Intermediate or Advanced)
- Driver’s Licence
- Must pass Pre-employment Medical, DAS and Respirator Fit Test
- Onsite D&A test carried out daily
- Fully vaccinated including 3rd Booster - with Covid 19 Vaccination Certificate
- Valid working rights in Australia (point of hire is Perth)
