**About the role**

The purpose of this position is to be responsible for administering the Learning Management System (LMS). Including creating courses, assigning learners, providing support to learners, providing training and compliance reports, training others in using the portal to contribute to building capability across The Benevolent Society to support our teams to optimise services and supports to clients, so clients can live their best life.

**Duties**
- Responsible for the coordination of all system updates and upgrades, including testing of all new features in the LMS, version control and continuous improvement of digital learning
- Develop clear instructions for navigating the learning activities and functions on the LMS and review and test all training content, to ensure compatibility to the LMS
- Ensure the LMS records learners’ outcomes in the gradebook for reporting purposes
- Responsible for ensuring all Mandatory courses are attached to positions in iChris, to enable leaner profiles to be set up in the LMS
- Work with LMS vendor to remain current on systems, specifications, and updates
- Working closely with the L&D Specialist and the vendor to develop and implement new features /functionality in the LMS
- Recommend training solutions through personal experience and feedback from the learners to improve the current structure of offerings within the LMS
- Troubleshoot system problems and escalate to the vendor where appropriate
- Escalate and report concerns and/ risks to the L&D Specialist for support and resolution
- Support the Learning and Development Specialist and Learning and Development Practice Partner as required

**Skills and Experience**

**We want you to be successful in your new role This means you'll have**:

- At least 12 months experience in administering a Learning Management System or HRIS.
- Knowledge of ichris preferred but not essential
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, as well as the ability to analyse and interpret data
- Excellent time management and coordination skills
- Great attention to detail with the ability to question the pieces that are missing or don’t make sense
- Strong customer service focus with the desire to make the experience better for your client group
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or other relevant training experience is desired.
