**The Role**
Reporting to the Director the Enterprise Solution Designer will be responsible for driving a holistic approach the department’s ICT investments to better support user/business through effective digital solutions.

The Enterprise Solution designer will support the department’s Chief Information Officer in providing an alignment between the provision of technology services and the department direction in policy design and program management.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities of the EL1 Enterprise Solution Designer may include:

- Develop agency wide designs and processes to embed the Digital Strategy and take advantage of whole of government standards and initiatives.
- Lead the creation and review of a systems capability to ensure services meet the strategic requirements of the business and ensures the buy-in of all key stakeholders.
- Conduct investment proposal appraisals and present findings to senior executive.
- Capture and prioritise business strategies and objectives and identify the business benefits of alternative strategies.
- Develop and present a high-level view of proposed future services with associated categorisation against strategic initiatives.
- Establish strong trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders including policy and program areas.
- Facilitate and drive the understanding of the value proposition and change throughout the product development life cycle.
- Provide input and work collaboratively with stakeholders to help deliver the Department’s digital transformation agenda and consistent user experience.
- Create effective designs and prepare appropriate material for strategic design workshops and presentations.
