**Talent International** is currently recruiting for a **Program Officer **to work for a** NSW Government **based in** Burwood**. This position is a **3-month contract with the possibility of extension **and are paying** $5**4.71 per hour plus super.**

Working Hours - 7 Hours per day / 35 Hours per week

**Description**:

- Develop, implement and manage a planned program of maintenance by analysing Property Assessment Survey (PAS) data, utilizing local knowledge to support the organisation's housing portfolio property maintenance program on allocated properties.
- Provide both proactive and effective contract administration through the development of office estimates including attend on site (as required) and supporting negotiations with contractors in relation to quotations.
- Ensure that works are appropriately delivered, and that strategies and action plans are put in place to rectify work issues where applicable.
- Develop scopes of work for exceptional internal activities and statutory and regulatory items such as disability modifications, in collaboration with relevant professionals such as Occupational Therapists as required; and
- Ensure compliance with the Australian Building Codes, LAHC standards, policies and Contract requirements when issuing work to contractors

**Essential Requirement**:

- Sound building experience or exposure, together with experience in contract administration including preparing quotations or estimates.
- Current working knowledge of the Australian Building Codes; and
- Intermediate MS Word and Excel with MS Project skills
- Post trade Certificate IV or equivalent qualifications or sound work experience in a property related field; and
- Current Driver's License.
