IPA is seeking a compassionate and skilled Assistant Director Clinical Coordination for an opportunity within the Australian Federal Government.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of clinical mental services, to ensure clients receive high-quality care from the Case Management team. You will also undertake line management and supervision responsibilities for the team.

**Some of your duties and responsibilities will include**:
- Maintain active awareness of caseloads of the Complex Case Management team
- Oversee external supervisory arrangement for the team
- Facilitate a professional development program for the team
- Ensure staff are meeting workload requirements and maintaining active professional development and regular professional supervision
- Provide oversight, support, ongoing consultation and advice to clinicians
- Oversee case documentation, alerts, case reports and adverse incident reporting
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with specialist service providers and develop relevant referral pathways
- Maintain a clinical workload of complex clients
- Contribute to the development and review of case management policies, processes and frameworks

**Mandatory requirements for this position**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher as a Registered Psychologist, Mental Health Registered Nurse or Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration
- Bachelor's degree or higher as a Social Worker with AASW membership or eligibility, and ability to obtain Mental Health accreditation
- Extensive clinical and complex case management experience
- Proven experience in leading and management of clinical teams within complex clinical settings

The successful applicants for this position must be an Australian Citizen and have a current Police Check, or the ability to pass one.
- Applicants who have experience working with military or veteran mental health services, or supporting clients experiencing the impacts of substance abuse, mood and anxiety disorders (including PTSD) will be highly regarded. ** _

**This position is full time, Monday to Friday. Initial contract term is 12 months, with possible extension thereafter.
