Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with clinical leads and end users across Metro North Health to deliver the Digital Metro North Strategy 2018-32. The strategy aims to ultimately deliver an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North by 2032. Over the coming years, significant capital works are being undertaken, including hospital construction and refurbishment and the implementation of the ieMR Advanced solution across all Metro North facilities. Achieving the aims of the strategy requires a dedicated team with the knowledge, determination, and skills to deliver quality results.
Key knowledge and experience
**The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following**:
Overseeing the operational planning, management, and evaluation of Integrated Electronic Medical Record (ieMR) implementation activities within the Program.
Leading the development of portfolio specific service improvement initiatives within the ieMR Program.
Ensuring efficient use of staff and resources in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Providing strong clinical leadership, strategic direction, and innovative solutions to progress the successful implementation of the ieMR across Metro North Health
Working collaboratively with site-based teams and project groups to drive best practices and quality patient outcomes.
Partnering with clinical informatics leaders, governance groups, and key stakeholders to support ieMR adoption and transition to business-as-usual operations.
About the role
The Assistant Nursing Director, ieMR Clinical Lead is a key member of the ieMR Leadership Team, working closely with department Directors to enhance person-centred care.
Reporting to the Director of Nursing, Chief Nursing and Midwifery Informatics Officer (CNMIO), the Assistant Nursing Director, ieMR Clinical Lead collaborates across eHealth Queensland, Digital Metro North, and Metro North Health Directorates for the operational implementation of the ieMR Program.
This position holds Band 7 human resource delegations and no financial delegations.
