**The Company**
This organisation provides consultancy services to support businesses and employers across NSW to enable businesses to think holistically about their workplace environment. Their new approach to Recovery at work, safety & well being gives the automotive industry the tools to quantify the value and drive positive safety outcomes. Partner with clients to help them understand health, injury management & Return to work, where its headed and what necessary steps they need to take within their business.
**The Role**
This role supports the General Manager-Operations in the design, development and delivery of WHS, Injury Management and Recovery at Work solutions for clients within the Automotive industry. You will partner with clients to delivery bespoke, needs based effective RTW strategies and improvement programs for customers, including implementation support, maximising RTW outcomes for injured workers and minimising the impact on workers’ insurance premiums.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Conduct RTW and claims management performance reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and develop supporting strategies to deliver better RTW outcomes for injured workers and customers
- Engage with stakeholders that form part of the RTW and claims management eco-system(e.g. claims service providers, allied health providers and nominal insurer) to maximise RTW outcomes and minimise the impact on workers’ insurance premiums and the workers’ insurance scheme
- Collaborate with customers to assess their needs, provide advice and assistance on injury management and RTW issues including the resolution of complex workers insurance claims
- Provide regular progress and status reports to customers
**About You**
The Successful RTW Consultant will have hands on experience within Injury Management & Return to Work and have a strong technical understanding of relevant legislation and codes of conduct.You will have formal qualifications and/ or an allied health background and previous experience in the automotive industry is highly desirable. You will be proactive, professional and enjoy partnering with different customers on a day to day basis.
