Asbestos Assessor

Experienced Asbestos Assessor required, with opportunities to diversify into Indoor Air Quality testing and other services.

We are looking for an experienced Asbestos Assessor to work for a market leader in the assessment and management of risks to human health in the built environment. Our client specialises in the testing of Indoor Air Quality, Asbestos and Hazardous Materials. This role would suit someone who has a background in Asbestos assessment and is looking to diversify their skills to eventually include Indoor Air Quality testing and other services.

**The Role**
A permanent, full-time position, working Monday to Friday, is available for an experienced Asbestos Assessor. The successful applicant will be conducting on-site assessments and producing reports and site management strategies.

Responsibilities are as follows:

- Liaising with site contacts and stakeholders
- Asbestos assessment and management according to relevant legislation
- Sample collection and management
- Producing accurate, timely, high quality scientific reports

**Ideal Skills & Experience**
Desirable applicants will possess:

- Tertiary qualification in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience in the use of scientific and analytical instruments
- Experience in an Asbestos Assessor role
- NATA laboratory experience and knowledge of WA environmental legislation is highly advantageous
- 100% committed to OH&S
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Full working rights in Australia
- Current 'C' Class driver's license
