**Resident Electrical Technician**

As an Electrical Technician, do you have a background and experience in food manufacturing processes and automated manufacturing systems? This opportunity will undertake improvements related to manufacturing processes, including those related to products, equipment, human interface, and product quality. A key focus will be preventative and reactive maintenance duties.

The site operated Monday - Friday, mornings, and afternoon shift patterns with regular opportunities for overtime.

**Day-to-day responsibilities**:

- Ensure maximum equipment uptime is achieved by completing effective and efficient Electrical preventative maintenance when production is not running on all packaging production lines.
- Endorses excellent communication skills to manage day-to-day tasks, quality, safety issues and escalations to your supervisor.
- Ensure that all electrical work meets all company safety and housekeeping requirements and conforms to all relevant regulations.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot faults to rectify problems.
- Be a proactive team member who shows initiative to build on cultural change improvements to create a stress-free environment.

**About you**:

- Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence or equivalent.
- Proficient with MS Outlook and ability to use maintenance management systems (E.g. SAP).
- PLC, Variable Speed Drives and Pneumatics experience is advantageous.
- A disciplined ability to work safely and autonomously in a team environment.
- Experience in maintenance/repair in a fast-paced modern manufacturing environment FMCG (_highly regarded although not essential_)
