**About the Role**:
As an Energy Efficiency Associate, you will provide Energy reports, and solutions, enhancing the energy performance of buildings. Your contributions will be key in reducing carbon footprints and promoting environmentally sustainable practices in the energy sector playing a pivotal role in advancing energy efficiency in residential buildings.
This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who have a keen interest in data analysis and building plans and are passionate about contributing to sustainable energy solutions.

**Key aspects of the role include**: Training and Development: We offer a comprehensive 4-week training program, preparing you with essential skills and knowledge for success in this field.
**Work Arrangement: (Based in the Wangara office
- No remote option available)**The position starts as a casual role with a training pay rate of $29 per hour. You will typically work 35 hours per week, with a flexible 7am - 8am start, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to increase hours as you gain experience and expertise.
**Commitment**: We've found that the role is most effectively performed by individuals who can dedicate their full attention to their work at Energy Advance. Therefore, this position is best suited for those who are not concurrently engaged in further education or other commitments that might divide their focus as it's strictly 5 days per week Monday to Friday.

**Key Responsibilities**
As an active member of the Energy Efficiency Team you will ensure technical compliance protocols are maximising energy efficiency on building projects by doing the following.
- Data processing - Insert building specifications and project information into software with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Undertake thermal comfort analysis to improve the energy efficiency rating of a residential building
- Assessing the building’s performance using NatHers software
- Provide compliance options to meet the required standards
- Preparing energy reports for building projects ensuring documents are properly presented adhering to compliance guidelines specified by Energy Advance’s procedures and policies
- Continual improvement of technical compliance measures.
- Continual professional development in Thermal performance analysis
- Professional accreditation or certification
- A Masters of Energy Efficient and Sustainable Building or Bachelor in Environmental Design or an applied science in a relevant field
- Industry experience in a similar fields
**Job Details: 30 to 35 hours Monday to Friday 8am -3pm in office
