We are seeking an **Acting** **Site Manager** to join our incredible Hornsby team on a **10 month Fixed-term contract.**

This Supported Independent Living is vibrant and full of energy, but alongside this can present very complex situations and challenges. This site is very robust. It supports 8 NDIS clients with complex disabilities and high physical support needs, BIS plans, psychosocial disabilities and behaviours that challenge so requires someone experienced in the field and who leads with confidence, clear communication, and purpose

This an opportunity to bring your experience and expertise to lead a large team of dedicated Support Workers, build trust, continue stability, and advocate for our participants to feel seen, heard, and supported.

**We’re looking for someone who**:

- Has experience leading teams of DSW in a high support, complex SIL environment.
- Brings 5+ years experience supporting people living with complex mental health diagnoses and/or psychosocial disabilities.
- Understands the importance of person-centered active support and that all staff must model this.
- Has experience and understanding of NDIS practice standards specifically around Behaviour Support and Restrictive Practices, and continuous improvement plans. Also in developing NDIS plans.
- Actively listens and communicates with clarity in pressured situations.
- Is reflective/open to feedback and always looking for opportunities to learn, grow, and improve.

**Please note**:This role requires you to travel Hornsby Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 5:00pm

**To be successful in this role**:

- Qualifications in Social Services or a relevant field (Cert IV minimum), or significant industry experience.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- A strong understanding of NDIS practice standards, behaviour support and restrictive practices, and risk management principles.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification. NDISWC and WWCC.
