Downer **Rail and Transit Systems (RTS)** is proud to be a leading provider of Rollingstock assets and management in Australia**.** We’re so excited to embark on the QTMP project and we are now seeking a **Training Coordinator** to play an integral role in the day to day running of the project.

Reporting directly to the Learning and Development Manager of the project, you will be responsible for the coordination of all learning and development activities related to the project.

This will include but not be limited to:

- Ensuring that the company’s Learning Management System (LMS) is appropriately configured to enable effective reporting and management of training needs
- Ensuring the LMS contains accurate/up-to-date information to support training compliance and governance requirements
- Identifying compliance gaps and expiring competencies/tickets and licences within the LMS data.
- Development and management of a QTMP Learning Calendar for internal training courses and development initiatives
- Communicating and coordinating with external training providers, subcontractors and operational leaders
- Monthly and quarterly reporting on training activities linked to project KPI’s
- Scheduling of technical trainers
- Assisting with the management of trainees, apprentices and graduates throughout the project

This is a fulltime, permanent role, and will be based in Milton, QLD. Some intrastate/interstate travel may be required from time to time.

**About You**:

- 3+ years relevant experience in learning and development
- Cert IV - Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent desired
- Previous experience with QLD Government Training Policy Administration System (TPAS) reporting ideal
- Previous experience within rail sector ideal
- Strong competence in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience working in both Blue and White collar environments highly desired
- Proven ability to collaborate with leaders and stakeholders at all levels
