Technical Trainer - Cyber Security - Australia or Singapore

Working within our APAC Education Services team as a Technical Trainer with learn the capability to deliver customer training in at least 4 x Trellix solutions. You will be working across the APAC region to deliver training to our customers and partners with a primary focus on Asia wide deliveries - virtual and in classroom. You will be expected to be involved in New Training opportunities, scoping calls and also training delivery planning calls in partnership with the Education Services Head and the Sales Manager whenever required based on your availability.
**Specific **Responsibilities/Functions**
- Representing the Trellix Education Services team through unquestionable integrity and a mastery of your field(s) of expertise
- Staying abreast of new Trellix technologies and associated training.
- Deliver a wide variety of post-sales technical solution training activities including public and private classroom instruction, virtual classroom training using video conference based tools, one to one and small group coaching.
- Engage and deliver using the Trellix Education Services Methodology, including defining, deploying and analysing assessments.
- Contribute to, review and beta-teach new classes; working in partnership with the development team
- Build working relationships with Sales and Customer Success colleagues to position the best education opportunities with customers and prospects
- Being an advocate for cybersecurity education externally to Trellix. E.g. talking at conferences, engaging with Schools and Universities, social media presence.
- Building effective working relationships with Trellix specialists (e.g. engineering, support, professional services) to deepen your technical reach into the technologies and be able to connect students with the answer to any question they may present
- Work collaboratively with the Education Services team, proactively engage on the operational side of the business and maintain data in the Learning Management System where required.
- You will be expected to be delivering training during 70% of your time each quarter following an intensive ramp up period.
- Manage all the training related logistics pertaining to the trainings that you deliver such as attendee invites, joining details, communications plus post training internal document sharing.
- Modify or create training content on an adhoc basis if required.
**Experience, Knowledge and Skills**
- Have an ongoing broad understanding of the cybersecurity landscape in the APAC region and impacts this may have on individuals and organisations in terms of education
- Experience in delivering formal hands on technical product training to a broad customer and/or partner student base - Classroom and Virtual Instructor led
- More than 5 years experience working in technical capacity in the IT industry, ideally in cybersecurity and/or cloud.
- Strong public presentation and communication skills and a high standard of documentation.
- Understanding of enterprise security strategy and where it fits within an organization to meet the client business goals and requirements
- Previous professional services/consulting experience desirable.
- Previous experience in managing/working with Security solutions offered under the McAfee Enterprise banner is highly desirable.
- Fluent in English. Ability to deliver in other languages will be desirable.
- Can do/will do attitude.
