**THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Head of E-Mobility Sales, The E-Mobility Business Development Lead will be dedicated to driving uptake of e-mobility solutions to customers. This role will generate new business through the engagement of customers to add value and further cement the relationship between Origin and the customer.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Champion mobility solutions to drive mobility sales including:

- Identifying customer targets for mobility solutions and developing the pitch to customers, particularly business fleet customers, property developers, body corporates and vehicle manufacturers
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline to drive the uptake of mobility products.
- Managing the end to end sales process from origination to execution of agreement
- Manage relationships with internal Origin teams, particularly Origin Zero and CES, to ensure coordinated approach to customers.
- Be the Origin advocate to the customer by educating the customer about Origin mobility solutions.
- Be the expert and trusted advisor when it comes to understanding Origin’s suite of mobility products and provide informed recommendations to customers based on customer needs.
- Understand and successfully overcome barriers and objections to drive customer uptake.

You’ll need to be driven, energetic and entrepreneurial, with a proven ability to be self-motivated and build successful relationships - both internally and externally. Your tenacity, resilience and persistence will be evident in both your work ethic and approach. You will be knowledgeable around the energy industry and ready to execute e-mobility strategy.

To be considered for this role you will have:

- Solid experience of business development of automotive/mobility or sustainability products to large customers
- Strong capability in building relationships and new business development
- Good understanding of Fleet/Automotive market or sustainability/energy efficiency offerings
- Experience with customer engagement systems, technology and processes
- Inter-personal skills are considered extremely important to this role. This would include experience in dealing with internal departments as well as the ability to deal with external stakeholders
- Written communication abilities (reports, briefs, presentations, investment proposals, external communications)
- Passionate about delighting the customer
- Understanding of financial principles, including (P&L’s, ROI and NPV’s) to explain how solutions can add value to the customer’s business.
- Ability to work autonomously and is outcomes focussed.
