Are you an organised and compassionate professional who loves helping people? We’re looking for an Intake Officer to support clients in accessing Allied Health services while managing referrals, appointments, and funding pathways.

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact, ensuring a smooth intake process and providing essential administrative support to our team. Your work will make a real difference in the lives of those who need care the most.

Ballarat Community Health is a not-for-profit community health organisation that’s been creating healthy communities through the provision of accessible, affordable and quality health and wellbeing services for over 45 years.

We deliver a range of primary health, social care and community-based support to meet local community needs. We have approximately 300 staff, with seven (7) locations across Ballarat and the Western Region.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Experience in the health or welfare sector including NDIS experience will be well regarded
- Previous administration and customer service experience is essential
- Proven ability to develop professional documents and correspondence is essential
- Proven ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds, personalities and varying needs, including the ability to show empathy and patience towards clients and staff
- High attention to detail
