**Your new role**:
Be part of a story of innovation, growth and partnership and lead the implementation of our exciting new evidence-based, early-intervention and therapeutic support model for young people, Ruby’s Reunification program.

You will work internally and externally with senior stakeholders to establish this flagship program. Integrating the new service within Uniting’s systems, policies, and processes, you will oversee delivering high-quality care and measurable outcomes for young people, laying the foundation for scaling the service across Victoria and Tasmania.

We believe in flexibility; you can work full-time or part-time from 24 to 38 hours per week - talk to us about the days and hours you are looking for, and we’ll see if we can make it work. The role is maximum term to December 2025 and will be located in Ballarat plus travel to our office in the Melbourne CBD.

**About the program**:
We are about to bring the first Ruby’s Reunification Program to Victoria. Ruby’s is a voluntary therapeutic residential and counselling service for young people who are experiencing family conflict and are at risk of homelessness and who need a safe place to stay in the short term while they and their families work towards reunification.

Ruby’s program was started by Uniting Communities in South Australia and has been successfully running since 1993. The model is underpinned by evidence-based best practices, including family therapy, narrative therapy, attachment theory, adolescent development, trauma-informed care and strengths-based practice.

**Your skills and experience**:
You will ideally have a background in government policy and reform or service design within the community services sector. You are known for your ability to successfully manage complex projects by building strong and productive relationships with key stakeholders along the way.

You will also bring with you:

- Broad leadership experience across various aspects of service delivery, such as case management, intake assessment, and referral pathways.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and establishing new services, including associated service design and development activities.
- Experience working within established quality and governance frameworks and balancing the organisation's and consumers' needs.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively using various tools, including reports, presentations, and facilitated sessions.
